meredith + jeremiah | invitations & details

meredith and jeremiah were married this past summer in late june. this was yet another wonderful wedding coordinated by amy & jessica with hitched weddings + events.  this was such a fun and unique wedding to work on!  we began with their invitations.  i loved that they wanted to include a quote on them.  it was such a personal touch and really accented their invites.  not to mention the pink was so bright and cheery! the ribbons were used to hold the additional cards in the back so that everything was gathered together for the guests when they opened the envelope.
meredith & jeremiah's invitation set. the #10 size was very unique and offered a great layout.
next up: the reception details!  i have to give a little back story on the elephant theme.  meredith and jeremiah both had this elephant joke book when they were younger.  the jokes were hilariously ridiculous and it was such a sweet and personal detail to their reception! they had both of their copies on display and we used the theme to coordinate table assignments.  for each table - the question of the joke was on their escort card and the answer on the table number.  i just loved this creative detail! below are images of the reception details.  meredith & jeremiah - thank you so much for everything.  it was an absolute joy to work on all of your pieces! best wishes for continued happiness in your marriage :) (and a quick thank you to sarah rimel of sarah rimel photography for providing these fabulous images!)

another view of the story - this time with a sneak peak of an escort card as well.
and i believe that is meredith's copy of the joke book!

lora + casey | invitations & details - part 1

i was trying really hard to wait until their professional pictures were available to do this post - but i just can't be patient anymore..it's such a neat wedding! so this will just be part 1.
to give a little backstory - this was a very special job to work on.  i have known lora since she was born..literally.  our moms are the best of friends and we spent a large portion of our childhood together.  while life happened and took us in different paths - i was beyond flattered when she contacted me to work with her on the paper for her and her fiance casey's intimate fall wedding in golden, colorado. i believe she told me something along the lines of wanting to take everything traditional about a lot of weddings, and doing the complete opposite.  that right there made me so excited for what will come with these pieces!  this couple is so creative and i will just have to let the images speak for themselves! it was a gorgeous mix of purples, reds, oranges and fuchsias with black and white striped accents throughout. it just looked magical!  below are images of their invitation set, programs, and itinerary sheet that was in the guests welcome bags.  i also had to include a couple images from their actual wedding so that you are able to see a sneak peak of the full package (thanks, mom!). i will do a follow up post with their professional photos once they're available.  without further adieu...lora and casey's wedding!

the invitation set | soft white envelope and invitation paper, rsvp postcard printed on khaki card stock. a thin piece of twine and strip of lotka paper bound the set together with the leaf accent displaying the hotel block information.

the invitation set | a view of the invitation set and all the pieces. the tree and banner were displayed throughout her paper.  each banner contained a different quote meaningful to lora & casey.
meet the newlyweds! great color in lora's bouquet - and the striped detail in both casey's bowtie and lora's bouquet ribbon! also - how gorgeous is lora's dress?!

a few of their table decor - so eclectic! i love it.

program and itinerary | a 4 page layered program with a vellum cover, two khaki text pages and the orange backing also served as the place for the couple's new address.  the itinerary was printed on a soft white card stock and placed in the guests welcome bags at the hotel.

hope you enjoyed! keep an eye out for part 2 soon. and to lora & casey - i can't thank you enough!  this was so much fun to do.  many congrats to the both of you!

elizabeth + patrick | details

hello all and happy friday! a few weeks ago i had the pleasure of working with amy & jessica of hitched weddings + events on some lovely wedding details! elizabeth and patrick used a deep teal and gold color scheme with peacock feather accents - isn't it gorgeous?! she diy'ed her invitations and used this great gold embossed peacock feather and wanted to carry it throughout her other paper details. i did trifold programs with the embossed gold peacock feather, double sided table numbers with a deep teal paper accent, and elizabeth found a great escort card/menu design she wanted to use. the tent measured 3x6 and printed on the front was the guest name and table assignment and on the inside, her menu. great way to avoid too much clutter at your place setting!  though the project moved quickly, she was a joy to work with and i can't wait to see pictures from the big day.  congrats elizabeth & patrick, and thank you! pictures below...

**UPDATE**

hello everyone! i recently received some professional images from elizabeth and patrick's photographer - Todd at J. Todd Photography.  i love being able to show the pieces in their element - it does them much more justice.  also you can see where elizabeth diy'ed the gold embossed detail on her escort cards.
